A risqué message in one of Wheel of Fortune’s puzzles put fans in stitches.

Adam Goodell won $2,450 and advanced to the bonus round for solving the “Brushing up on my Italian sausage” puzzle, but viewers couldn’t stop wondering what the solution was.

Many viewers expressed their shock on Twitter, calling it “kinky” and “hilarious.”

One user posted a photo of their TV screen with the caption, “Yeah, I don’t know about this one #wheeloffortune #ohvannapickmealetter.”

Someone more said: “I found the ‘Brushing up on my Italian sausage’ puzzle on #WheelofFortune tonight hilarious for some reason!”

A third person said: “Bruh what intern must made the puzzle ‘brushing up on my Italian sausage’ I’m dead.”

“‘Brushing up on my Italian sausage’ may be one of the most lurid-sounding #WheelofFortune puzzles ever,” a different tweet stated.

The tweet was punctuated with multiple smiling face emojis. “So apparently the solution to a puzzle on Wheel of Fortune yesterday was ‘Brushing Up On My Italian Sausage’…and I think the jokes write themselves,” someone else remarked.

“That doesn’t sound right,” someone else commented.

After chuckling at the response, host Pat Sajak said, “Uh…it’s a grilling expression.”
